That’s a wrap!
What can we say. It’s been emotional to finally bring everyone back together for an intense Nuart production schedule but its been a lot of fun and we’ve made a lot of new friends along the way! After 2 years of remote working we finally got everyone in one room at our fantastic hub space located in the iconic Anatomy Rooms and thanks to the efforts of the team, our incredible volunteers, photographers, academics and this years artists we had one of our best years yet!
We saw incredible work in all sizes from this years artists and you can see photo’s of their efforts via their profiles. Special shout out to Martha Cooper who did a great job capturing some of this years event while taking part in Nuart Plus.
Our efforts would mean very little without the support of the city and to see so many people visit the production sites, chatting with the artists, joining our Nuart Plus events, taking part in workshops and joining us for the mega opening weekend organised by Aberdeen Inspired was truly a reminder of why we do what we do. We’ll be doing a proper recap of this years Nuart Plus events but in the meantime you can check out the finished artworks and some of the faces that made us smile as we reconnected with the Granite City, a city full of culture!
